Fuzzy French Lop...Wish they were a ARBA Recongized Breed!

I just can’t say enough about this wonderful breed! I love the bone size on these rabbits not to mention their hindquarters. They have pretty good wool considering the fact no one breeds just for Fuzzy French Lops, the fuzzy gene just happens to pop up every now and then. Most breeders of French Lops cull the fuzzy ones by the age of 4-8 weeks.

This is just one of my Fuzzy French Lop’s that I have. This one is Thunder Thighs, my other one is Thomas the Tank. Thunder Thighs is a little over 10 ½ lbs right now.

  1. Our English Angora doe accidentally 'got' with our French Lop buck while the kids were playing with them inside the house and we have a whole litter of our strange little Fuzzy Lops this month. Most if not all of them have the fuzzy gene and they look like they'll have a similar growth pattern to the English. They're stripped Harlequins and some are Faun and of course are just adorable.
