Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the Cavy Agility Trails, I was off showing rabbits. I even set my phone so I could go and watch, o' well. I also wanted to watch the Rabbit Hopping Competition as well, but I missed that as well. Although, Jessica said she was able to watch some of the Rabbit Hopping Competition.
Here are just a few quick photos of the Cavy Agility Course....

UARC Skein/Garment/Wool Contest
This year was my 1st time entering the UARC Skein/Garment/Wool Contest at PaSRBA. This was my practice run before I enter items at Angora Nationals in NY in April.
I was very please with the results of all of my fibers that were entered in the Wool Classes. Since I raise all four breeds of angoras I was able to enter in each category. The category's were as follows: English Angora Plucked, English Angora Sheared; French Angora Plucked, French Angora Sheared; Giant Angora Plucked, Giant Angora Sheared; Satin Angora Plucked, Satin Angora Sheared.
I'm please to announce my Plucked French Angora won 1st place.
I entered the Skein Contest this year with three different items. The 1st item I entered was my BOB French Angora from last years PaSRBA Show. Two Oak's Yum Yum Yum "S more's" is a Black French Angora Senior Buck. Every time I grow his coat out, its already pre sold. The last item I grew his coat out I kept it on the down low so I can spin his fiber for my self to make a hat or scarf for my self. I entered his wool in the 100% Angora White or Natural Colored Classes under Two Ply. I was lucky enough to watch the judge, judge my fiber. She said I would of one 1st place if I would of entered my item in the correct class which was Other Ply or Novelty Yarn. Now I know for next time.
This year there was quite a few entries in all the categories. Here are a few photos...

Fuzzibutt's Rabbitry in the News....
My friend Julie from Oak Ridge Rabbitry in PA contacted me a few weeks ago with a list of questions about angora rabbits and their wool for a friend who was interested in getting started with one of the angora breeds.
A few days later I emailed Julie my response. Next thing I no, she wanted to submit them to The Valley New Paper. Which is a free newspaper dedicated to agriculture, self-reliance, frugal living, and modern homesteading.
Fuzzibutt's Rabbitry is featured on page 16 of The Valley, Volume 3. No. 2 February 2012 issue.
Thank you Julie for a wonderful article!

Jessica and Fuzzibutt's Mr. Fluffy to You
Jessica is currently 11 years old. She breeds and shows Jersey Woolies in the Tan variety. Unfortunately, she did not show any babies at PaSRBA this year, they are just a little over 12 weeks old.
Jessica has fallen for another wool breed again, this times it's a Giant Angora buck name Mr. Fluffy. His registered name will be Fuzzibutt's Mr. Fluffy 2 You when he is old enough.
Jessica showed in Youth at PaSRBA, she did great. Not only did she show Mr. Fluffy, she showed his brother Fuzzibutt's Where's My Peeps At and Fuzzibutt's I Like To Move It for me in open. I was off showing my husband's Flemish Giant since he was home sick.
Fuzzibutt's Mr. Fluffy 2 You won the following:
02/04/12 PaSRBA Youth {Best Opposite Sex Giant Angora, 1st Junior Buck, Best of Wool} under Johnny Haussener from PA.
02/04/12 United Angora Rabbit Club Specialty Open Show {2nd place junior buck} under Eric Stewart from IL
